How shared medication tracking works
Updated
Short answer
You start a log with just a nickname, share one link or QR code, and everyone helping can log doses, temperatures, and blood pressure on the same timeline in real time. No app, no account, no subscription — MedStitch runs in any browser on any phone, tablet, or computer.
The nine steps, from first dose to finished record
Start a shared log
Enter a first name or nickname for the person you're caring for — that's the whole setup. No sign-up, no app store, no password. The log opens instantly in your browser.
Add the first dose
Log the medication's name, the amount, and the time it was given. You can set the interval from the product label so the log shows when the next dose window opens.
Share one link
Send the link to everyone helping — or pull up the QR code and let them scan it with a phone camera. One link is all anyone ever needs.
Everyone joins in seconds
Anyone who opens the link picks a nickname — Mom, Dad, Grandma, the overnight sitter — and immediately sees every entry already in the log. No install, no account, no password.
Log doses as they happen
Every dose is timestamped and attributed to the person who logged it. Optional dose reminders send a push notification when the next dose window opens — timing comes only from what you set.
Track temperature alongside
Temperature readings sit on the same timeline as doses, so you can see how a fever responded after each dose instead of piecing it together from memory.
Track blood pressure too
Blood pressure entries — systolic, diastolic, and optional pulse — live in the same shared log, useful for an older parent whose readings several people help keep track of.
Everyone sees the same timeline
New entries appear in real time for everyone on the link. Two caregivers in different homes — or different cities — are always looking at the same up-to-date record.
Review, keep, or export the record
Look back over the whole stretch whenever you need to. Free logs delete themselves after 7 days; a one-time purchase can keep a log forever as a dated record, or export it as a printable PDF for a doctor's appointment.

What you don’t need
- No account — nobody creates a username or password, ever
- No app download — the log opens in any browser, with an optional home-screen shortcut
- No subscription — the shared log is free, and any upgrade is a single one-time payment
- No personal details — a nickname is all we ask for
MedStitch is a shared logbook for personal, family use — not a medical record and not medical advice. Dose timing comes only from what you set; check the product label or ask your doctor or pharmacist.
